Every year millions of wildebeest, gazelles and zebras make the perilous trek from the Serengeti park in Tanzania to the Masai Mara reserve in their search for water, grazing land and a safe place to give birth to their youngsters. Our 8-day Safari Serengeti Migration is designed specifically to increase your chance to see the great Serengeti wildebeest migration. Witness one of nature’s biggest spectacles.
Day 1 – Arrival Tanzania
Your private guide will pick you up at Kilimanjaro International Airport and brings you to your accommodation in Arusha for an overnight stay.
Day 2 – Lake Manyara
Your Safari Serengeti Migration starts. After breakfast you drive in about two hours to Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy a full day in this beautiful and relatively small park, which is famous for the large numbers of flamingos and the tree climbing lions. At the end of the afternoon you will leave the park and drive to the nearby village Karatu for an overnight stay. (It is possible to overnight on the crater rim; if you like to you can ask for it.)
Day 3 – Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti
Today you will descend 610 meters into the Ngorongoro crater for an impressive game drive. The crater is also known as ‘Eighth Wonder of the World’ and is absolutely unique. One of the highlights is the rare black Rhino, and if you are lucky you will spot it here. After a maximum allowed stay of six hours in the crater you will start your journey to Serengeti National Park for overnight stay and the ultimate “Out of Africa”-experience.

At the end of the day you return to your accommodation at Serengeti for an unforgettable sun downer.
Day 7 – Serengeti, Arusha
