Day 1 Arrival in Tanzania
Warm welcome at Kilimanjaro International Airport by your private guide. He will transfer you to Arusha for your first overnight at the foot of Mount Meru.
Day 2 To the Tanzanian wilderness
From Arusha you will drive leisurely towards Tarangire National Park. Have lunch with stunning views of the surrounding area. In the afternoon, you can go for a guided walk to the nearby lake.
Day 3 Tarangire National Park
Early morning departure to explore Tarangire. The park is particularly known of the large herds of elephants and the diversity in scenery, with the Tarangire river, swamps and large baobab trees.
Day 4 The Maasai & Great Rift Valley
We leave the home of the elephants and head to the Great Rift Valley. En route, you will visit an authentic Maasai boma where our good friends Mama Yamath and her family live.
Day 5 Vast plains of the Serengeti
Today you continue to the vast plains of the Serengeti, Africa's most famous national park. You will stay in a tented camp that gives you the unique "Out of Africa" feeling.
Day 6 Serengeti National Park
A full day to discover the wilderness of the Serengeti! Explore the incredible concentration of wildlife such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, giraffes, elephants and wildebeests.
Day 7 Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Even on this last day in the Serengeti, you may encounter animals that you have not spotted before. With a final game drive we head to back the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will spend the night near the Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 8 Ngorongoro Crater
Early morning you descend via the steep slopes into the Ngorongoro Crater, the "Garden of Eden". With some luck you may even find the one of the most difficult Big 5 animals to spot: the endangered black rhino!
Day 9 End of your safari adventure
Your safari adventure comes to an end. Immerse yourself once more in the Tanzanian culture with a village walk or mountain bike ride. Well in time your guide will take you to Kilimanjaro Airport for your international flight.
