Arusha National Park is about 35 minutes drive from the city centre of Arusha, in the north of Tanzania. With an area of approximately 137 km², Arusha National Park is one of the smaller parks in Northern Tanzania and definitely worth a visit. Besides the wildlife, flora and fauna, the park features three spectacular sights, which makes it an attractive park to visit for a safari. The Arusha National Park is renowned for the acrobatic black / white colobus monkey jumping with his long wavy state from branch to branch. Enjoy Ajabu Adventures on a trip with several spectacular sights:
- Climb the Mount Meru crater (4575 meters), an active strato volcano located in the middle of the park. The slopes are fertile and rise above the surrounding savanna.
- The Ngurdoto crater is located in the middle of the forest and is also called small Ngorongoro crater. The crater consists of savannas, swamps and riverine forests with a habitat for buffalo and warthog. The chances are about to see a herd of elephants walking the crater.
- The seven Momella salt lakes are located further north, pulling various animals and birds, including flamingos.
